Dear Church Family,
As I write this, school time is done for another year and young people and families are planning “the summer”.  I am making a personal and renewed effort to reach young people, children, and families of our community with the Good News of Jesus.  Teaching children and young people the word of God is so important.  Did you know that most people are won to faith in Jesus Christ because they learned about Jesus as a child or young person?  What we learn as a child or young person sticks with us all our lives and is why faith and church are so important!
Look what Jesus says concerning children and young people:
Take care that you do not despise one of these little ones;
for, I tell you, in Heaven their angels continually
see the face of my Father in Heaven.
– Matthew 18:10
You are an evangelist preaching the word o God when you teach a child or young person and bring them to church.  You are one of the beloved prophets of God when you assist a child or young person in faith.  You are a wonderful example of faith when you pray with a child or young person.
Thank you to ALL the people who will assist me on this mission!  You will be blessed by God and a blessing to others.
I hope ALL enjoy the summer with family and friends!  I hope to see each of you this summertime!!
